Independent transport guide — not official Expo transport · Verified 19 October 2026
GREEN×EXPO 2027 is at the Former Kamiseya Communication Facility in suburban Yokohama from 19 March to 26 September 2027. For most visitors, the practical route is rail to one of four official stations followed by a separately reserved shuttle. Ordinary private-hire entrance access is not confirmed.
Quick answer
For most international visitors, take a train to Seya, Mitsukyo, Tokaichiba or Minami-machida Grandberry Park and use the reserved official shuttle. Choose the station around your verified rail connection—not a claimed universal fastest route. Admission, the visit-date process, outbound shuttle and return shuttle are separate applicable steps.
Both buttons open official third-party systems. Octoshell Japan does not sell Expo tickets or collect those payments.
30-second transport decision
These are verified planning combinations, not official designated routes or live fastest-route advice. Check the railway operator’s journey planner on your travel date. Every four-station shuttle requires an outbound or return reservation as applicable.
| Origin | Rail connection to consider | Official shuttle station | Changes | Where private transport may help | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Central Tokyo | Compare a Yokohama connection for the Sotetsu Main Line with a Shin-Yokohama connection for the JR Yokohama Line. | Seya / Mitsukyo, or Tokaichiba | At least one rail connection is likely; confirm the live itinerary. Shuttle reservation required. | Hotel → a confirmed station may help with luggage; not the Expo entrance. | Official access + rail operator maps |
| Shinjuku | Compare rail to Yokohama for the Sotetsu Main Line or to Shin-Yokohama for the JR Yokohama Line. | Seya / Mitsukyo, or Tokaichiba | Rail and shuttle changes are required; service patterns vary. Shuttle reservation required. | Hotel → a confirmed station may be reviewed separately. | Official access + JR/Sotetsu maps |
| Shibuya | Research Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line services toward Minami-machida Grandberry Park. | Minami-machida Grandberry Park | The same line serves both stations; the specific train may still require a change. Shuttle reservation required. | Usually unnecessary if your party can manage rail and luggage. | Tokyu station and route information |
| Yokohama Station | Use the Sotetsu Main Line toward Seya or Mitsukyo, then the reserved shuttle. | Seya or Mitsukyo | One change from train to shuttle. Shuttle reservation required. | Hotel → Yokohama Station may help with a large luggage load. | Sotetsu route map + official access |
| Shin-Yokohama | Use the JR Yokohama Line toward Tokaichiba, then the reserved shuttle. | Tokaichiba | One change from train to shuttle. A direct bus is planned but not final. Shuttle reservation required. | Hotel or meeting → Shin-Yokohama may be reviewed separately. | JR East + official access |
| Haneda Airport | The planned Expo direct bus is not final. A current rail option is Keikyu toward Yokohama, then Sotetsu Main Line. | Seya or Mitsukyo | Airport rail, Sotetsu and shuttle; confirm the live service pattern. Shuttle reservation required. | Airport → hotel or confirmed station can be reviewed; no entrance promise. | Official Expo access + Keikyu |
| Narita Airport | No Narita direct bus is published. JR East’s Narita Express serves Tokyo and selected Yokohama services; continue by rail to a shuttle station. | Seya / Mitsukyo after Yokohama, or another station confirmed by live route search | Airport rail, connecting rail and shuttle; check the train serving your date. Shuttle reservation required. | Airport → hotel is often the useful private segment when carrying luggage. | Official Expo access + JR East N’EX |
The times below are the organiser’s estimated bus journey from the station to the venue. They are not the total journey from a Tokyo hotel, and road congestion may cause delays.

Official reservation checklist
Admission and transport are not one booking. Complete every step that applies and retain each confirmation.
Purchase or hold a valid Expo ticket through the official ticket system.
Complete this in the official ticket system when the organiser enables it; the ticket page currently says it will be introduced later.
Reserve and pay for the station-to-venue journey in the separate shuttle system.
Make a separate venue-to-station reservation for the same day if needed.
The shuttle is ¥200 for adults and ¥100 for children aged 1 to under 12. Under-1s are free. Up to two children aged 1 to under 6 may ride free with each accompanying passenger aged 6 or over and are not entered in the reservation passenger count.
Official fare rulesIf seats remain, booking is possible until five minutes before the meeting time. Register early. A journey booked 181 days or more ahead is provisional. The official FAQ describes the payment window as starting either 180 or 179 days before travel and ending 31 days before travel; use the deadline shown in the booking system or the reservation will be cancelled automatically.
Official booking FAQPresent the QR code on a device, printout or screenshot. Cancellation is free until 17:00 the previous day; after that and until five minutes before the meeting time the fee is 50%. Cancellation is unavailable after that cutoff. Some changes require cancellation and rebooking.
Official QR and refund rulesFor exhibitors, DMCs and delegations
Who: international exhibitors, visiting executives, DMCs, business guests and small delegations.
What: airport arrivals, hotels, off-site meetings, corporate visits and linked multi-day movements in Tokyo and Yokohama.
Boundary: no dedicated Expo lane, venue parking right, special access or unapproved entrance pickup/drop-off is promised.
Dates, flights, hotels, meetings, passengers, luggage and decision-maker contact.
Ops checks every route, legal stopping point and operating feasibility.
Vehicle and luggage fit is reviewed per segment; multiple vehicles are not assumed available.
The proposed scope, estimated price and conditions are provided in writing.
No vehicle, route or price is confirmed until the stated confirmation process is complete.
Families and individual transfers
Toyota Alphard: recommended for 1–4 passengers, maximum 6. Planning combinations are 3 passengers / 4 checked suitcases, 4 / 4, 5 / 3 and 6 / 2.
Toyota HiAce Grand Cabin: recommended for 5–9 passengers with around 8 checked suitcases. Bag shape, child seats, strollers and mobility items still require review.
Folding wheelchair: the passenger must transfer to a standard seat and the folded chair uses luggage space. No WAV, lift, ramp, in-wheelchair travel, medical transfer or lifting service is advertised.
When public transport is better: visitors who can manage rail changes and have little luggage will usually find the official shuttle more suitable and less expensive.
Best for: Most ordinary visitors, including people staying in Tokyo or central Yokohama.
Benefit: Four published station connections and a low shuttle fare.
Limit: Reach the station and hold separate outbound and return shuttle reservations.
Best for: Visitors seeking fewer changes from Shin-Yokohama, Yokohama, the waterfront area or Haneda.
Benefit: The organiser is planning direct services from those origins.
Limit: Operators, timetables, fares and booking methods were still unconfirmed on 19 October 2026.
Best for: Visitors who can use the organiser’s designated taxi arrangements.
Benefit: Taxis and large taxis are an official access category; a return taxi stand is planned near the main gate.
Limit: The organiser does not manage reservations. App pickups use a separate place. This does not grant access to private hire cars.
Best for: Families, executives and small delegations needing separate airport, hotel, meeting or station movements.
Benefit: Passengers, luggage and linked off-site segments can be reviewed as one brief.
Limit: No Expo-entrance drop-off, venue parking or special access is promised. Every stopping point requires review.
Best for: Pre-organised coach groups using the organiser’s group-bus reservation system.
Benefit: Dedicated north and west parking arrangements are published for eligible group buses.
Limit: Advance parking reservation is required. These rules must not be applied to an Alphard or HiAce.
Independent business-visit evidence
Public announcements confirm international participation, corporate exhibitions and travel products. They support the practical possibility of airport, hotel, meeting and off-site movements; they do not establish that any named organisation is an Octoshell Japan client, partner or endorser.
ITTO · 16 March 2026
ITTO announced an exhibition, forums and workshops after signing a participation contract. This supports planning for international business visitors, but does not indicate a relationship with Octoshell Japan.

Use rail to one of the four official shuttle stations, then take the separately reserved shuttle. Compare Yokohama connections for the Sotetsu Main Line, Shin-Yokohama for the JR Yokohama Line, or the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line from Shibuya. Check the operator’s live planner; these are examples, not official routes or fastest-route claims.
Choose the station that fits your origin and current rail service: Seya or Mitsukyo, Tokaichiba, or Minami-machida Grandberry Park. The organiser’s station-to-venue estimates are about 10, 15, 25 and 20 minutes respectively—not total hotel journey times.
A Haneda direct bus is planned, but the operator, timetable, fare and booking method were still being coordinated on 19 October 2026. Until final details appear, travel via Tokyo or Yokohama, then rail and a reserved official shuttle.
Do not assume so. Published taxi arrangements do not extend to ordinary pre-booked private-hire vehicles. There is no general transfer-vehicle pickup or drop-off space at the venue or on surrounding roads. Octoshell Japan can review off-site segments; entrance access is not offered or confirmed.
Yes. Expo admission, the visit-date process and shuttle transport are separate. Outbound and return shuttle bookings are also separate. A shuttle booking does not provide admission, and an admission ticket does not reserve a shuttle seat.
Yes. Octoshell Japan can review airport arrivals, hotel transfers, meetings, corporate visits and multi-day movements. Operations checks every route, passenger and luggage plan before a written quote. Availability and venue-related segments remain unconfirmed until approved.
It can help for airport-to-hotel or hotel-to-station segments when children, older travellers, strollers or large luggage make changes difficult. If you can manage rail with little luggage, rail plus the official shuttle is usually less expensive and more appropriate.
Tell Octoshell Japan in advance. A standard vehicle can only be considered if the passenger can transfer to a normal seat and the chair folds for storage. It reduces luggage capacity and needs an operations check. No WAV, lift, ramp, in-wheelchair travel, medical transfer or lifting service is advertised.
About this guide
This independent guide is written and maintained by Octoshell Japan, the public brand operated by Baihappou Co., Ltd. It explains licensed private ground transport only within Octoshell Japan’s published operating scope.
Venue dates, shuttle stations, fares, reservations, taxi arrangements and access restrictions are attributed to organiser sources. Vehicle capacity, luggage review, written quotation and service boundaries describe Octoshell Japan’s own process. The two are not presented as one official service.
Stable event facts and changeable transport policies are reviewed separately. The verification date changes only after the cited sources are checked; the modification date changes only after a substantive page update.
Venue and event dates are relatively stable. Shuttle operations, direct buses, fares, reservation rules, taxi arrangements and vehicle access can change. Recheck the organiser’s current information before paying or travelling.
